Saving the Castle
Just last month we unveiled our new Command Center (proactive network monitoring service) and it’s already proving its worth. On an October Saturday morning we received a “site down” alert from the Command Center for one of our most valued and long standing clients, W. J. Castle Group. Preliminary troubleshooting revealed all connections to the Internet were cutoff, no E-mail (incoming or outgoing), web mail, or VPN/remote access. Though W. J. Castle is closed for business on weekends we knew the problem must be diagnosed and resolved to get them up and running before business hours begin on Monday morning.
An on-site visit over the weekend revealed the firewall locked in a boot cycle state, effectively preventing all network services from entering or leaving their site. After the corrective action was taken, all services were restored and NO DOWNTIME was incurred.
Had it not been for the Command Center the problem would not have been detected until Monday morning and hours of lost productivity would have been unavoidable.

The One That Almost Got Away
Mantua, NJ – May, 2007 – www.SportFishermen.com was gearing up to unveil their new video section on their web site- over 200 submissions of home fishing movies.
